Cobramuseum, Amstelveen

Joan Miró (1893-1983) is still a very popular artist. All over the world Miró’s art is available in galleries and auctions and his work is still influencing younger artists.
At the time of this exhibition it has been about 60 years ago that Miró’s works has been shown in the Netherlands. The Cobramuseum compares Miró with CoBra works and at the same time it shows the versatility of Miró’s own poetic world which seems so very close to works of Constant or Rooskens.
Interesting eye-opener! So, is there a relationship to CoBra? Yes, more then you should have guessed.
